Timberlog is a comprehensive forestry tool that provides efficient and accurate calculations for timber volume. With the ability to calculate cubic meter, cubic foot volume, and board feet, Timberlog offers a range of options to suit different needs.

One of the key features of Timberlog is its round timber volume calculation. Simply input the diameter or circumference and length, and the app will provide you with the accurate volume measurement. Additionally, Timberlog allows you to calculate sawn timber volume by specifying the width, thickness, and length of the wood.

Sharing your calculations is made easy with Timberlog. You can create a list of your measurements and easily share it via email, as well as other sharing apps and cloud storage services, all free of charge. Furthermore, Timberlog offers the option to generate an Excel file report that can seamlessly be imported into Excel or other spreadsheet applications.

Timberlog ensures accuracy by employing various calculation standards used in timber cubage calculation, such as the cylindrical Huber formula, firewood estimation, standing tree volume calculation by Noonan (Kershaw), Doyle Log Rule, Scribner Log Rule, International 1/4-inch Log Rule (Grosenbaugh), Ontario Scaler’s Rule, Roy Log Rule, Hoppus Rule (Quarter Girth Formula), GOST 2708-75, ISO 4480-83, ČSN/STN 48 0009, NF B53-020, JAS Scale (Japanese Agricultural Standard), A. Nilson, and Lokal Java.

Additional features of Timberlog include estimating the total net stack volume of measured timber (sawlogs), the ability to enter bark thickness, and the option to mark each piece with wood species, timber quality, assortiment, and ID number using barcodes. You can also specify prices for wood species and quality, as well as the VAT value, allowing you to calculate the average price per volume. Timberlog also provides calculations for average diameter and wood weight.

For those working with round timber, Timberlog offers the capability to estimate the quantity and surface area of boards, planks, or wood beams resulting from sawing a round timber. The app also allows you to add tags and comments to timber items for better organization and tracking.

Timberlog's user-friendly interface allows for simple and efficient data entry with one hand. You can easily add or remove one tree from the log list, and by holding down an "Add" button, you can quickly add multiple items of the same size to the timber log list. Additionally, Timberlog offers voice entry capabilities through a speech recognition system.

The app is designed with good visibility in strong light, thanks to its clear display featuring large buttons and numbers. Furthermore, Timberlog enables you to save and load timber lists for further editing and append header information, such as customer, company, and notes, to the timber log list. Printing directly from the app is also possible, including on Bluetooth ESC/POS portable thermal printers on-site.
